Services provided

The health services cover a range of medical specialties and supportive fields, including:

• General Practice (Clínica Geral) – focusing on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses across all age groups.
  
• Nursing Service – offering essential care, monitoring overall health status and promoting physical and mental well-being.
  
• Other offered specialties: Gynaecology/Obstetrics, Dental Medicine, Nutrition, Physiatry, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Family Therapy, Sexology, among others.

Access, hours and fees

• Services operate across the Alameda and Taguspark campi, with differing opening hours depending on the location.
  
• The nursing service is free of charge for the entire Técnico Lisboa community.
  
• For medical consultations and therapies, a published fee schedule is available, with different rates for the IST community, external users and particular cases.

Psychotherapy and counselling for adults at Instituto Superior Técnico

Técnico’s Health Services provide the community with psychological support in the areas of guidance and counselling, assistance in crisis situations, and therapy for diagnosed disorders, with the aim of promoting psychological well-being and offering users specialised care.
