Pan-European Seal Young Professionals Programme
The Pan-European Seal Programme (PES) 2026/2027 is a joint initiative of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the European Patent Office (EPO), aimed at students and recent graduates who want to start their professional career in a European, international, and highly competitive environment.
Since its inception, the programme has welcomed over 1,500 participants from partner universities across Europe, offering traineeships and professional development opportunities in the areas of intellectual property, innovation, patents, and European policies.
Traineeship at the EUIPO – European Union Intellectual Property Office
The EUIPO traineeship provides professional experience in a European and multidisciplinary environment, with a strong focus on the protection of intellectual property rights. Participants have the opportunity to work on international projects and collaborate directly with experienced professionals.
Virtual University Visits 2026 – Information Sessions
During these sessions, students can learn about the role of the EUIPO and intellectual property rights, and receive detailed insights about the traineeship programme.

Traineeship at the EPO – Young Professionals Programme
The EPO Young Professionals Programme offers highly specialised professional experience in the fields of patents and innovation, with integration into international teams and direct contact with experienced professionals. This programme allows participants to develop technical and strategic skills while gaining insight into the operations of the European Patent Office.
