What is it?

The Técnico Alumni Mentoring Program is a year-long mentoring initiative that provides Técnico students personalised guidance from alumni with established professional experience.
Throughout the program, mentees can clarify questions about their academic path, receive support in their career decisions, and gain a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities across different sectors and professional fields.

Enrolment in the program is carried out through the Técnico Alumni Mentoring platform powered by BeeWisee, both for mentors and mentees.
After registering, students can browse the profiles of available alumni and select up to three potential mentors they would like to interact with. Once a mentor accepts a request, the remaining selections are automatically withdrawn.

Although the mentoring relationship is designed to run for one academic year, it may be concluded earlier if both parties agree.

All Técnico students enrolled in degree-granting study cycles are eligible to participate in the program.

You may join the program with a defined goal already in mind, or develop one with your mentor’s support. From there, each pair has the autonomy to decide the next steps and the best way to conduct the mentoring process.

When?

8th edition of Técnico Alumni Mentoring Program:

• Registration for Mentors and Mentees: from 26 November 2025
• Programme Presentation Session and first meeting of the pairs: 10 December 2025, at the Técnico Innovation Center powered by Fidelidade
